Rayburn Art Students Participate in Ft. Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Art Contest
This past weekend, Rayburn Art Students participated in the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s annual Art Contest. More than 1,000 young artists from 120 schools entered the contest with work reflecting the spirit of the Stock Show and its legendary western heritage.
We are proud to announce that we had seven Rayburn students place among the top winning spots including GRAND CHAMPION!!
In addition to earning a scholarship award, students were invited to participate in the Live Auction during the Grand Entry Gala on Saturday night where their artwork sold to the highest bidder.

In the 2D Division:
-Grand Champion was
Brandy Villegas earning a $5,000 scholarship
-1st Place was
Joseph Rogers earning a $4,000 scholarship.
-2nd place was
Marco Sosa earning a $3,150 scholarship.
-And in 7th place was
Kassandra Cantu.
In the 3D Division:
-1st Place was
Alfredo Garza earning a $2,000 scholarship
-3rd place was
Matthew Saravia earning a $1,000 Scholarship
-And in 5th place was
Dasahni Pena.
