Any
absence without a written note of explanation is an unexcused absence.
If it is necessary for a student to be absent from school, the student
must bring a written excuse upon return to school. Excuses for abscences
must be written on full sheets of paper and must contain all of the
following:
-Date excuse is written
-Full name of student and homeroom
section
-Dates absent -Reason for absence on each date
-Signature of
parent or guardian
-Telephone number of parent
If a student fails to
bring a note within two days of returning to school, the student will
receive an unexcused absence and may be assigned school consequnces.
Students bringing a note the following day may be given an excused
absence if the reason for the absence is accepted by the principal.
