15.) How Would I Withdraw My Child from SRHS?

Almost without exception, the person(s) who enrolled a student is the person who must request the withdrawal of the student. While there may be some very specific situations where the person requesting the withdrawal is not the same person, this will apply the vast majority of times.
A request should be put in writing. The note should contain the following information:

-the name of the student and the homeroom section
-the date of the request
-a brief explanation of the reason for the request (e.g. "We are moving to another area") and where the child will be going
-the date that will be the students last day in school
-the signature of the parent or other person having legal control over the student and a phone contact number

Please allow between 24 and 48 hours to have a completed withdrawal sheet provided. Not all signatures of school personnel are easily or readily obtained.
Students who have moved out of the school district during the course of the semester are generally permitted to remain until the end of the semester in progress, unless transportation presents a problem. An out of district transfer must be obtained.
Transportation is not provided on students on transfer. [A poor discipline record, excessive abscences, and/or failing grades may be considered and impact a request.
